For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 On Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 2:30 a.m., a soldier was called home to join a flock of angels. Rev. Willie Lee Kelly was born on July 3, 1969 to Myrel Kelly. He was the youngest of 8 children. WillieKelly 1 Word, as we affectionately called him, was a very loving and fun man. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Rev. Howard at St. Paul Baptist Church in Plaquemine, LA. He was affiliated in many organizations and had a degree in many fields. Willie lived in Minneapolis, MN for 20 years, where he preached and touched the lives of many. WillieKelly 1 Word will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Willie Lee Kelly, leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother Myrel Kelly; 4 sisters Joan (Victor) Richardson, Vera Franklin, Sara Walker, and Betty Knox; 4 brothers Gregory Kelly, Edward Kelly, Rickey (Lynne) Kelly, and Eric (Marticia) Jordan; sister-in-law Lorraine Kelly; 3 Aunts Mercedese Kelly, Rosemary Kelly, Mary Kelly; 1 uncle Isaac Kelly; 3 great-aunts Augustine Jones, Charlotte Willimas, and Nancy Willis; a nephew whom he reared Elton Kelly; 3 Godchildren LeKisha Mosby, Deundra Robertson, and Jushia Gaines; 12 nieces and 5 nephews all of whom he loved; a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Willie was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles Kelly Sr. and Lou Ida Williams; his brother Alvin Kelly; 4 uncles Earl Kelly, Charles Kelly Jr., Paul Kelly, and Silas Kelly; his aunt Yvonne Kelly; brother-in-law Earl Walker Jr.; niece Ashley Mosby. SLEEP ON WILLIE KELLY…TAKE YOUR REST!!!!!
